Nationwide chain of beauty salons – Case study – Local SEO & content marketing

I had the pleasure, as an employee of an interactive agency, to implement a content marketing and SEO campaign (including local SEO) for a nationwide chain of beauty salons. As part of the collaboration, our goal was to increase the brand’s online visibility and improve organic search engine results. The project included a comprehensive SEO strategy to reach a wider customer base and increase conversions.

Project goals

• Increase organic traffic,
• improve positioning for key keywords,
• increase the number of enquiries for local salon services,
• increase national brand awareness

Strategies and activities

• keyword analysis: We conducted a detailed analysis to identify the most valuable phrases related to the services offered by the salon network.
• contnte optimisation: We created new content and updated existing content to better meet user needs and SEO requirements.
• link building: We built a strategy for acquiring backlinks from credible sources, which helped to increase domain authority.
• local positioning: We focused on local phrases related to place names and services, which increased visibility in search results.

Results

Increase in organic traffic by more than 100% over the year,
Increase in user engagement by more than half, resulting in more returning customers

Conclusion

Thanks to a comprehensive SEO strategy and the regular publication of valuable content, we were able to achieve significant results. The increase in visibility in the organic search results and the increase in the number of conversions confirm the effectiveness of the measures applied.
