International distributor of electronic components – Case study

In July 2021, I started working with a global distributor of electronic components in the form of an employment contract. Our goal was to increase visibility in organic search results, which was crucial for the company’s growth.

Collaboration objectives

During the collaboration, we focused on several key aspects:

• Increasing search engine visibility: Achieving higher positions for relevant key phrases.
• Content optimisation: Improving product and category descriptions to make them more user and search engine friendly.
• Traffic: Monitoring and analysis of website traffic data to further optimise SEO activities.
• Technical optimisation: As part of the cooperation, changes were continuously implemented to optimise the website comprehensively.

Results

Thanks to the measures taken, a record level of visibility was achieved in 2022 (data source: Semrush):

• 1.2 million users per month.
• 25.5 thousand phrases in TOP3, a significant increase compared to previous years.
• 92,000 phrases in TOP10, demonstrating the effectiveness of our SEO strategies.

Impact on Revenue and Profits

Data analysis shows that 43% of web traffic comes from organic search results (source: Similarweb, for the project’s main domain). This therefore had a significant contribution to the company’s record revenue of PLN 1.5 billion and a net profit of PLN 183 million in 2022 (source: bizraport.pl).

Summary

Working with a global distributor of electronic components has brought tangible benefits, both in terms of search engine visibility and the company’s financial performance. SEO activities not only improved search engine rankings, but also contributed to a significant increase in revenue and profits. The implementation of the SEO strategy has proven to be an important element of the company’s business success in 2021-2022.
