Dietary supplement – increasing product brand awareness

As an SEO specialist, I was responsible for the implementation of a project for a brand in the dietary supplement industry, specialising in vitamin products. The aim of the project was to increase organic visibility in search engines, reach a wider audience and support content marketing activities. The dietary supplement market is dynamic and competitive, which presented additional challenges.

Competitive market: The dietary supplement industry is characterised by a lot of competition, both from large pharmaceutical companies and smaller manufacturers.

Activities:

Keyword analysis: I conducted an in-depth keyword analysis, identifying phrases related to vitamins, minerals, dietary supplements and their effects. I focused on both general and long-tail phrases, taking into account the specificity of the products offered by the brand.
On-page optimisation: I optimised the page structure, meta tags (title, description), headings (H1-H6), content, URLs and alt attributes of images for the selected keywords. Care was also taken to optimise page load speed and mobile responsiveness.
Collaboration with the content marketing department: I worked closely with the content marketing team, advising on SEO and search engine optimisation of content. Together, we developed a content marketing strategy that took into account users’ information needs and SEO guidelines.
Technical optimisation: I supported the technical optimisation of the site, including optimisation of the robots.txt file, XML sitemap, implementation of structured data (schema.org), and improving indexing of the site by search engine robots.
Monitoring and analysis: I regularly monitored the site’s positions in search results, organic traffic and other metrics, analysing the data and implementing adjustments to the SEO strategy.

Conclusion:

Thanks to a comprehensive SEO strategy, we were able to significantly increase the brand’s visibility in organic search results, which translated into an increase in website traffic and reaching a wider audience. This project demonstrated the importance of synergising SEO and content marketing activities in building a strong brand position in the competitive dietary supplement industry.
